Golden parachute for fired Yahoo executive may be record breaker

Maybe we should all get bonuses when we're fired? And some worry that a Living Income would be a disincentive to work, but how about getting paid when you get fired? That seems totally backwards.. How does a person get paid exorbitantly for a job they aren't doing, when so many don't get paid Enough to live for the hard work they ARE doing?
